Overview
This is an all-inclusive Mount Kinabalu package with a Via Ferrata activity at the Walk The Torq route. Climbers will climb along the Timpohon Trail and stay at Pendant Hut at Panalaban Case Camp on the first day. The journey to Low's Peak Summit early morning the next day and continues with the Via Ferrata activity.

Itinerary
DAY 1: KOTA KINABALU / KINABALU PARK HQ / TIMPOHON GATE / ASCEND MOUNT KINABALU / PENDANT HUT
- Packed Lunch, Buffet Dinner
- 06:00 Hr - 06:45 Hr: You will be picked up from the lobby of your hotel and depart for a 2-hour journey to the Kinabalu Park Headquarters. Make sure to collect your packed lunch.
- 09:00 Hr: Our guide will handle all necessary registrations, assign a mountain guide to you, and obtain your ID TAG. Remember to wear your ID TAG at all times.
- You will then be transported to the starting point, Timpohon Gate, to begin your journey and quest to the summit of Borneo's highest mountain. The climb will take approximately 4-5 hours, passing through different vegetation zones, from Oak and Chestnut to mossy and eventually to alpine types.
- 15:00 Hr: You will arrive at Pendant Hut at 3,289m and settle in.
- 15:30 Hr: Attend the mandatory Via Ferrata familiarization in Pendant Hut and meet your Mountain Torq trainer.
- 18:00 Hr: Enjoy a buffet dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant and spend the night at Pendant Hut.
- 20:00 Hr: It will be time to go to bed and turn off the lights.
DAY 2: LOW’S PEAK / WALK THE TORQ / DESCEND MOUNT KINABALU / KOTA KINABALU
- Early Supper, Breakfast, Lunch
- 01:30 Hr: Pack up and wake up for early supper.
- 02:30 Hr: Continue the journey towards the summit of Mount Kinabalu.
- 05:40 Hr: Reach Low's Peak at 4,095m and witness the sunrise.
- 06:00 Hr: Descend Low's Peak to meet your Mountain Torq trainer.
- 07:15 Hr: Meet your via ferrata trainer at Sayat Sayat Hut @ 3,668m for the Walk the Torq via ferrata experience (introductory via ferrata, French grade PD).
- 09:30 Hr: Return to Pendant Hut for a well-earned breakfast.
- 12:00 Hr: Check out of Pendant Hut, descend to Timpohon Gate.
- Arrive at Timpohon Gate (Est. arrival 15:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs) and transfer to headquarters to collect the certificate of achievement.
- Lunch will be served in Kinabalu Park.
- Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu city. The journey takes approximately 2 hours.

Important Notes
- Climbers arriving at Timpohon Gate after 4:30 PM will be charged MYR 15.00 per hour per guide, which must be paid to the guide on site.
- Remember to bring your passport or MYKAD for verification during registration at the Kinabalu Park office.
- Beginning September 1st, 2017, the Tourism and Culture Ministry of Malaysia will be implementing a Malaysian Tourism Tax (TTX) for foreign tourists. The rate is MYR 10 per room per night, regardless of the accommodation's star level, and is to be paid upon check-in. Malaysians or permanent residents residing in Malaysia are exempt from the TTX and must present valid identification upon check-in to claim the exemption.
- On the day of the climb, climbers must bring their original passports or ID cards to the Kinabalu Park HQ for registration.
- While at Pendant Hut, customers must bring their own face masks and wear them at all times, except during eating, drinking, and sleeping periods.
- On the first day of the climb, climbers must attend a mandatory briefing and training session for the Via Ferrata route in Pendant Hut between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
- On the second day of the climb, climbers must return to the starting point by 7:15 AM (WTT) or 6:30 AM (LPC) as the latest cut-off time.
- All groups will be led by qualified Mountain Torq Via Ferrata trainers, and climbers will be mixed together.
- Climbers who do not comply with the timing will not be able to continue with the Via Ferrata activity, and no reimbursement will be given.
- In case of bad weather, the Via Ferrata activity may be cancelled for safety reasons, and no reimbursement will be given.
- It is recommended that all climbers have a medical check-up before attempting any mountain climb.
- Suppose you have a history of conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, palpitations, arthritis, heart disease, severe anaemia, peptic ulcers, epileptic fits, obesity, chronic asthma, muscular cramps, hepatitis, or any other illness that may impede your climb, it is highly recommended that you refrain from climbing.
- All children under the age of 15 must fill out an indemnity form upon registration at the park headquarters.
- Our dedicated team operates around the clock to accommodate all guests' arrival schedules. Therefore, we are able to provide airport pick-up services at any time to match your arrival time. Please provide us with your flight details at least one week prior to your flight so we can make the necessary arrangements.
